Baking, crafting, mama-ing and taking photos of it all. When I remember.

I wanted a big chunky cowl for ages. And I wanted a specific big chunky cowl. In a very particular yarn. And…this is not it. But! It’s close! The Very Particular yarn that I wanted to use actually doesn’t seem to exist anymore. (Good Karma Farms worsted in a pale yellow color that they don’t apparently dye anymore…) But this is the same yarn in a perfectly respectable, delightful, probably-more-practical color. The pattern is the very easy and very popular GAP-tastic cowl. Seed stitch for miles, baby! It was the perfect pattern for knitting around the children because I never had to worry about where I was in the pattern. I could put it down at a moment’s notice with no ill effects. No “Wait for mama to get to the end of this round!” I knit and knit and knit until I ran out of yarn, so I used a full two skeins. It is squishy and long and huge and I love it!

See the details of mine on Ravelry.
